Yes. Simply enter CMS LatinAd from your phone, enter your username and password, and that’s it!

  • How do I create an account to post my screens for sale?

You can create your account by completing the form. A LatinAd salesperson will contact you to verify the data and finish activating your account.

  • Can I configure the hours of operation of my screens?

Yes, you can define the operating hours of the screen, outside of those hours the player will display a black plate that allows you to save electricity consumed by the screen. This is done from: Edit screen options, from the list view of screens or from the view of a particular screen.

  • Can I sell my screens outside the LatinAd MarketPlace?

Yes, you can sell outside of the LatinAd MarketPlace. You will have to do the programming of the adv manually. You will have the possibility of having the output information of the ad and also the evidence in a campaign report. On the other hand, you can count on the possibility of connecting to other marketplaces, through different integrations (consult with commercial support the options of having a provider that you want to integrate since we can do it)

  • What is CPM?

CPM is the acronym for “Cost Per Thousand Impressions“. It is a term used in the spanish programmatic industry.

For LatinAd, it is the price that an advertiser must pay so that their advertising piece/art is reproduced a thousand times on a screen.

  • How is CPM calculated?

To calculate the CPM in LatinAd, you need to know:

      • How many outputs/minimum views an advertiser will have per month on my screen in a traditional sale.
      • What daily or monthly price do I want to receive for each advertiser that is present on my screen

With this data, all you have to do to get the CPM is to divide the monthly sale price by the number of minimum monthly checkouts and multiply by a thousand.

    Example:

      • Traditional sale price 30 days: U$D 900
      • Minimum monthly departures in 30 days: 12,000 (400 per day)
      • (900 / 12000) * 1000 = CPM $75
  • Where do I have to install the LatinAd Player?

This can be a PC running Windows (7 or higher), Linux (with support for AppImage apps), MacOs, Android (7 or higher), Raspberry Pi (3B or higher), and Tizen (Samsung TVs).

  • From where do I manage the content of my screen?

  • What operating system does the LatinAd player work on?

Works on the following operating systems:

    • Windows (7 or higher)
    • Linux (with support for AppImage applications)
    • MacOs
    • Android (7 or higher)
    • Raspberry Pi (3B or higher)
    • Tizen (SmarTV Samsung)

*For Raspberry Pi and/or Tizen contact Technical Support.

  • How do I register my screen for sale to make it available in the LatinAd MarketPlace (DSP)?

In the following video tutorial we teach you in detail how to make your screens available.

  • How to link a screen with the LatinAd Player?

You can do it in 3 simple steps:

    1. Download the LatinAd Player and install it on the display device.
    2. Enter CMS LatinAd with your username and password
    3. Create the screen in the manager and link it by entering the code that appears when you open the LatinAd Player.
  • Can I split my screen into multiple screens?

Yes, you can do it by configuring different LatinAd Players on your same screen. You will treat them as independent screens and you will be able to manage the content independently as well. Watch the video here.

If you want to show ads together, you can use the Synchronized functionality. At the moment it is possible to do it for Windows, Linux and MacOs operating systems. Watch the video to understand what it is about here.

  • How do I link ads on the screen?

From the CMS LatinAd you can do it in two ways:

    1. From SCREENS, select the one that corresponds and you will be able to access the “reel or loop” with the active ads, to link new ads you just have to click ADD ANNOUNCEMENT.
    2. From ADS, select the one you want to upload and you will link the ad to the screens you want from ADD SCREEN.
  • Can I schedule announcements based on specific times, days and dates?

Yes, it is possible by creating a SMART LIST ad, where you can ADD RULES, indicating a specific departure date, days of the week and departure times. Here you can access the instructions.

  • Can a screen be made to display an ad at a specific time?

Yes, it is possible by activating the EXCLUSIVE PLAY. This functionality allows an ad to be displayed at a specific time, by default the minimum time is 1 minute with the option to increase said time. You also have the option of programming the EXCLUSIVE PLAY when you link an ad, indicating the date, time and duration. Here you can see the tutorial on how to do it.

  • Can I certify the ads for my clients?

You can certify the ads by uploading photos or videos of the screen with the ad coming out. We call this material “evidence” and it is attached to the exit report that you can issue by the Content Manager (CMS LatinAd).

  • How do I view impression reports?

You can generate reports of the exits of an ad from the “Report” >“Impressions”. There you must select an ad and a screen for the system to generate a report on the number of exits. You will have the data grouped in a graph with the total departures per day and you will also be able to see the detail per hour of each of the dates you select.

  • How do I know if my screen is displaying ads?
    • You can verify that your ad is playing from the Reports module, in the “Live view” option. If you have a camera connected to the CMS that points to the screen.
    • Viewing the impressions report for each ad in the Reports >Impressions.
    • Seeing the green download check in the Loop section of each screen (indicates when exactly that ad has already been downloaded by LatinAd Player)
  • Can I live view my screens?

If you have a camera that is facing the screen, you can integrate it with our LatinAd CMS and associate them. To do so, please contact audience support.

  • Can I control the brightness of my screen according to the schedule?

Yes. By clicking on the focus icon 💡 (Brightness) within the configuration of each screen that you have created in LatinAd CMS.

  • What happens if my screen runs out of internet?
We’ve done our best to keep your screen from being interrupted by ad playback, even if you lose your internet connection. The advertisements (images or videos) that the screen has to display are previously downloaded and saved on the screen’s PC disk, which means that in the event of an internet connection failure, the player will continue to do its work normally. When the connection is restored, it will check if there have been any changes to the playback cycle and the displayed ads will be updated.
  • Do I need to purchase any hardware?
No. LatinAd works on the hardware that you already have connected to your screen. It only requires SO Windows (7 or higher), Linux, MacOS, Android devices, Andorid TVs, RaspBerry Devices or Samsung SmartTVs with Tizen.
  • What user roles exist?

The user roles for media are:

    • Administrator Role: You will be able to perform all the functionalities (all permissions enabled).
    • Operator Role: You will be able to create and manage all the screens and the advertisements that are displayed on them, but you will not be able to see, modify or answer commercial questions (price of spaces, approval of guidelines, history of income generated).
    • Commercial Role: You can define commercial specifications for each screen, put them on or remove them from sale, accept purchase requests, view sales history, and other commercial issues. But you will not be able to modify the content that is displayed on each screen.
    • Auditor Role: You can check the settings and programming of the screens, but you can not make changes.

The following video explains how to create them.

  • How can I adjust my screen resolution?

From the LatinAd Player options menu (Right click on the image – >Adjust Window).

You can also change the resolution from the CMS, within a screen section, ⚙️ Settings -> Configure Player. Be careful when editing this information, since it can be affected in the way the image on the screen is seen, always do it while viewing the screen.

  • Can annual volumes be generated?

Yes. LatinAd interferes when there are large negotiations with agencies or high-volume clients. Generally, these negotiations begin in November, and annual investment budgets are generated.

  • Can I configure special or different prices depending on the client?

Yes. LatinAd is very versatile when it comes to maintaining prices or configuring the prices of its screens in particular cases. You will be able to configure a base price for your screen, both for traditional and programmatic sales, and then you will be able to add special prices for each agency and maintain the internal arrangement that they may have.

This can be done from the CMS LatinAd in the section of each screen:

    • ⚙️ Settings -> Traditional price
    • ⚙️ Settings -> Programmatic pricing

Remember that they must always have the registration form for the sale completed before setting prices. ⚙️ Settings ->Screen details

  • Does LatinA offer advice on the acquisition of LED Screens/Panels?

LatinAd does not sell screens, but we can help you choose. First of all you must take into account the place where you are going to place the screen. It can be a place outdoors (outdoor screens on public roads), a closed place (such as a mall, a store, a hospital), or in a bus, taxi, or subway. Once you know this, you can opt for two very different technologies with different purposes, LED panel technology or Smartv televisions.

    • LED panel screens are modules that are generally sold per square meter, and have the advantage that you can build large-format screens of the size you want (for example 12 meters x 7 meters, for a monocolumn at the foot of a large road access ). We leave you the link of our strategic partner where you can ask yourself questions and buy this type of screens: www.dinalight.com
    • Smartv televisions have the advantage that they are much simpler when it comes to deciding and installing, they are cheaper with known technologies (they can be Android TV, Samsung, or any other model that can be connected to a device on the back). The disadvantage is that large sizes cannot be achieved, they cannot be outdoors without a special housing, and they are generally used for confined spaces with limited space.
  • Can I have one or more ads run synchronously across multiple screens?

You can use the Synchronized functionality. You can make one or several advertisements (same or different), be seen in a synchronized way on two or more screens. You can also apply rules of specific dates, days and times.

SEE EXPLANATORY VIDEO OF HOW THIS FUNCTION IS USED.

  • Can I create clients and assign a profit margin?

You can create campaigns and manage them from the LatinAd CMS itself.

You will be able to do the following:

    • Register your customers with their respective brands
    • Create quotes and be able to send them in PDF.
    • Run campaigns that will then be automatically planned in your media
    • Control sales, all from the same LatinAd CMS.

LatinAd in this type of internal campaign do not have any type of commission. You can also choose media from other companies to expand your offer, in this case LatinAd will have a commission for the service of those screens that do not belong to your media.

HERE we show you how to do it in an explanatory video.

  • Can I create screen circuits for better administration?

Managing screen circuits is much easier.

You can create a circuit, place several screens inside and manage them all as if they were one. You can see the reports in a unified way or individually on the screen. We also enable programmatic sales in circuits: You can offer impression sales for the entire circuit and in the event of a screen failure, the system automatically redistributes the affected impressions on the rest of the screens.

  • Can I sell my screens on foreign country? How do I invoice? Do you have taxes?

Your screens can be seen by suppliers from all over the world. So you can receive sales from countries outside where you operate.

In this case, you will receive the amount of the sale in the currency USD (United States Dollar), and you must issue an international invoice (invoice) in this same currency.

This type of sale will not have local taxes and you will be paid exactly for the value of your screen, but it will be reached by the foreign transaction retention depending on the country where the campaign is broadcast, which will be paid by the client, you will only receive a receipt and we will inform you of the retention so that it can be added to your bill.

We can see each withholding by country:

    Argentina 35%
    Chile 10%
    Perú 28%
    Ecuador 35%
    Colombia 32%
    Panamá 12.5%
    Costa Rica 20%
    El Salvador 20%
    Honduras 25%
    Guatemala 3%
    Rep. Dominicana 28%
    Nicagarua 20%
    United States 8%

The sale will not be affected by the retention, only in the special case in which the advertiser or the agency chooses its purchase by the “External Invoice” modality, which we will inform you in advance.
