Agency FAQ
- What user roles exist?
There are 4 user roles for agencies:
- Holding Director: You will have access to many agencies at the same time.
- Agency Director: With full access to an agency.
- Media Director: Access to managing brands and planners.
- Planner: Access to the DSP to execute campaigns.
- Do I have to adapt the ad to each screen?
Yes, the piece or art must match the resolution of each screen so that it can be adapted. There is the option of making the ad full screen in each case (but it is not ideal, you have to have criteria so that the ad does not deform).
- Can you upload the video to the platform yourself?
Yes, LatinAd is a self-service platform, so you can upload the ads as well as create your own ads using our Canva.com content creation integration (you just have to click on the “Create ad with Canva“)
- What is the maximum weight that the ad has to have?
It can weigh up to 500Mb. In special cases, you can contact technical support for help with your upload.
- What format does the file I want to upload have to have?
Remember that the file that I am going to upload has to have the resolution of the screen in which it is going to be uploaded. And the allowed formats are very wide, some of them are:
- JPG
- AVI
- MP4
- PNG
- MPG.
- H264.
- MOV.
- Web Content (HTML responsive ads copy; html5 y web redirects)
*.GIF is not allowed.
- What is the purchase and approval process like?
Once the piece is entered and the exit rules, conditions, etc. are added, the means of payment is indicated and later an email is sent to the owner of the means to approve the announcement (this process does not take more than 2 hours), so in less than a day you can have a regional campaign running.
- How are traditional and programmatic selling different?
Watch the following explanatory video where we show the difference.
- Can I create programmatic campaigns?
Yes, to create a programmatic campaign I have to belong to a verified and registered media agency in LatinAd. A programmatic campaign will allow you to base your campaign on the target audience through audience data.
- Can I make adjustments to a campaign that is already broadcast?
Yes, the adjustments that can be made once the campaign is running have to do with immediate spot changes or, if it were a programmatic campaign, modification of departure rules (times and days).
- Yes, the adjustments that can be made once the campaign is running have to do with immediate spot changes or, if it were a programmatic campaign, modification of departure rules (times and days).
The performance of the campaign can be controlled in real time for each of the screens that were purchased. This can be done from the detail section of a campaign in the DSP as well as from the CMS. You will be able to control the performance by days and hours, see the audience impact and make adjustments in real time if required. We also provide you semaphore control, which will help you realize if the campaign on each screen is performing in the best way.
Color code:
Red: Serious performance issue.
Orange: Moderate performance issue.
Yellow: Warning of a possible trend towards a performance problem.
Green: Performance as expected.
- Can I create a campaign for a particular client and brand?
Yes, for that I have to have created the client in the content manager (CMS LatinAd) and one of these three options must occur:
- Have the Agency Director user role.
- Have the Media Director user role and have that client assigned.
- Have a Planner user role and have that brand assigned.
Once this step is done, I have to go to the DSP LatinAd portal, log in with my credentials and select the specific client and brand.
- Can I configure different markups for each client?
Yes, the MarkUp will be determined uniquely for each client.
- How does LatinAd platform measure impressions/outputs? And how do I make sure it's real?
LatinAd has strict security protocols so that each time an ad/image piece is displayed in full on each screen, it issues a notify to our platform to account for that impression. If the screen has internet interruption for some time, it will save each impression locally on the screen, and when it resumes connection it will warn about all the exits it had.
In the event that the screen does not use some of the automated processes of LatinAd, a warning may be seen in the reports, indicating that the load of impressions will be the one loaded by the owner of the medium, for which they can be reflected with a delay of up to 24 hours and could be outdated in time. - Can I create clients and assign a profit margin?
You can create campaigns and manage them from the LatinAd CMS itself.
You will be able to do the following:
- Register your customers with their respective brands
- Create quotes and be able to send them in PDF.
- Run campaigns that will then be automatically planned in your media
- Control sales, all from the same LatinAd CMS.
LatinAd in this type of internal campaign do not have any type of commission. You can also choose media from other companies to expand your offer, in this case LatinAd will have a commission for the service of those screens that do not belong to your media.
HERE we show you how to do it in an explanatory video.
